Rimonyx is a biotech start-up using a new technology platform Small Molecule Inhibitors of Adhesion to Glycosaminoglycans (SMIG) for drug discovery. The SMIG platform has applications for inflammation, cancer, amyloid disorders (e. g.., Alzheimer’s disease) and viral diseases. Rimonyx is focusing on discovery and development of innovative anti-inflammatory therapeutics and has identified lead compounds for indications such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Acute Pancreatitis.
